Volleyball team ties single season win mark

As I was getting ready to send out the sports pages tonight, I saw that the USD women’s volleyball team defeated MSU-Mankato 3-1 in Mankato, Minn.
That gives USD 18 wins this season, tying the single season win mark which has been set four times.
For as much pub as we at The Volante give this team, they truly are this good.
With eight matches still left on the season, this is a team that can win 23-24 games this season. And considering the sub-par teams USD has had the last few seasons, that’s an amazing turn-around.
I’m confident the Coyotes can get into the postseason and could maybe shock some people.
